Description

1800's CAST IRON CHOPPER - Curved Steel Blade and Silky Cast Iron

In the title, I mentioned the silky smooth cast iron that is a clue to the 1800's age of this chopper. I DO want to point out that there is some rust on the top of the handle. Other than this small amount of rust (which you could sand a little smoother) and a light patina of rust on the steel blades, other that this, the chopper is in Great Condition.

This type of chopper is commonly referred to as "bell shaped." I can find no embossing.

Look at the workmanship at the nut and bolt area where the steel blades are attached to the cast iron.

Height of the chopper is 5 1/2 inches. It is 4 3/4 inches at its widest point of the blades.

Price is $15.00 and shipping is $6.00.

Check out the other similar chopper that I have also listed…it is embossed.

I gladly refund any shipping charges that exceed the postage and money spent on boxes and packing materials. Of course, I will combine orders to create larger refunds. Your purchases will be shipped within 3 working days.
