This journal is handcrafted from sustainable Lokta paper. The cover is made up of a dried flower which is neatly pressed inside the paper. The bamboo stem hold the thread which latch on to the button to close the cover. It is available in multiple colors.

Length: 8 inches
Breadth:6 inches
50 page (100 both sides)
Paper : Off white, textured

This unique paper comes to you from an ancient tradition of Nepal paper making. Using no chemicals, hand washed in Himalayan river and dried in the sun. It is made entirely of Lokta plant (Daphne) which grows in altitude around 7000ft. Unlike wood pulp which requires acres of land, lokta plants are simply pruned every year for paper production making it truly eco-friendly.

Dried flowers that are used in the process might differ from one notebook to the other. This means that your journal will be very unique.

By supporting us you are also supporting local artists and craftsmen of Nepal who are dedicating their live to keep this ancient craft alive in this modern world !

This book is awesome. The pages are super soft and easy to write on. There are tiny chunks of leaves or plant matter pressed into the pages that you have to write on top of at times but it is also a cool experience because it shows that the pages are authentic. It is super lightweight which makes bringing it with you in a bag easy. The painting on the front is authentic and very neat. I highly recommend this if you are looking for an awesome handmade book to let your creativity flow into.
