Description

"OBJECTION!"

Or, "Igiari!", whatever steps your ladder.

Once I saw Hobo Phoenix, man, it was true love. And by love I mean, I had to make that hat. There were a few "trials and tribulations", and even a gross misjudgement of proportion (like an untimely objection) which compelled me to go back to my save point and try again (pull it completely apart). This hat is the perfect complement to a cosplay, or going to the grocery store for more grape juice, and it will always remind you to "turn your thinking about."

This hat is knit with a light weight sock yarn, making it sturdy, washable, and very soft. Colors may vary slightly from the picture, since both the blue and the pink yarns are subtly variegated.

- DIMENSIONS -

Maximum Diameter: 24 in. (61 cm)
Minimum Diameter: 16 in. (41 cm.)
Height 9 1/2 in. (24 cm.)

- CARE -

This hat is knit out of a soft, thin blend of wool and nylon, for durability. It should be perfectly fine to machine wash, but best to let it dry flat.

- WHY HAND KNIT? -

Hand knit goods such as those that are sold at NotEnoughForSoup are made with high quality materials, with every stitch taken into consideration. They last longer, are warmer, and more comfortable to wear. Buying handmade goods also supports a local artist and provides the public with beautiful and unique clothing options.

- SHIPPING -

Will be shipped Standard within 1-3 days. Please message me if you need your order rushed!

- PACKAGING -

All orders are wrapped with pride to give you a "it's just like Christmas but I ordered it for me" feeling. If you did order it for someone else, however, please feel free to write something in the "message to seller" box, and I can add a note.

- CUSTOM ORDERS -

If you would like this hat, or any others in my shop in a different size, color, or translated into another garment (such as a scarf, or mittens) I would be more than happy to work with you!

Additional policies

We are very happy to do custom orders! Here is a list of helpful things I would need to know before I can get started:

- SIZES -

This is the tricky math bit. Some items such as scarfs don't need much sizing (approximate dimensions and tassel preference is helpful), but other items are more form fitted. I'd like a measurement around your head for a hat, but most are stretchy enough that a general size will work (Example, Mens Medium). Sweaters need the widest measurement around the middle, sleeve lenght and the desired length from shoulder to hem. Mittens need a hand height and width measurement, and also a general hand description (large hands, children's hands, etc.)

- YARN QUALITY AND COLOR -

Here we come to the most fun part: The yarn itself. I need a basic color description of what you would like (dark blue with light gray, or this pattern with the color scheme from the other listing) and what quality of yarn you would like. I strive to knit with high quality wool yarn, but sometimes wool is not practical or not feasible (in the case of allergies), and I can either hunt for the correct yarn, or I am willing to use something you may send it. I can also use ultra luxury goods such as silk or cashmere, but in that case the yarn cost will be supported by the buyer and not included in costs.

- CUSTOM WRAPPING-

Need your item to be wrapped for a special occasion? Or would you like a note included? Please message me in any order, custom or not.

---IMPORTANT CUSTOM PATTERN NOTE---

Custom patterns are my favorite challenges, but they are very time consuming. I make several test swatches for each pattern to make sure that whatever image is sent to me comes through when it is translated into knitting. Because of this, I am now charging a $10 fee for developing new patterns. If you are ordering multiple hats this fee will only apply to the first, and this fee also does not apply to adjusting an existing pattern (Example: knitting a Bucky hat in black would not apply, but putting the logo of a sports team on a hat would).

- ADDITIONAL NOTE -

We reserve the right to decline business for any reason. Thank you for understanding.
