Effects of Jade (excerpts from "The Great lexicon of healing stones, fragrances and Herbs"):

The traditions of the jade range back to the 5th millennium BC, where it was already mentioned as "the Best of all gems". The Chinese saw in the jade the symbol of the five main virtues: Wisdom, justice, mercy, humility and courage. It raises awareness for your wearer and gives you a long, healthy life. In ancient Egypt, the stone was revered as the stone of love, of inner peace, of harmony and of balance. Jade still serves as a dream stone, giving its wearer the ability to interpret dreams. The Mayans in ancient Mexico worshipped the stone as a stone of love, which is able to transform friendship into intimate love.

Effects on the body: the green jade, or jadeite, is often counted among the weaker stones. This is not true, however, because the rather gentle vibrations of the jade penetrate particularly deeply into the organism due to their high frequency. For example, it can cure diseases of the internal organs such as the spleen, liver and the intestinal tract. Especially the kidneys preserve the jade from suffering, colic and kidney stones. As a chain or tea, this can even purify impurities and deposits from the liver and kidneys. By flushing out these toxins they gain zest for life and more vitality and become more resistant to infections and jaundice. Through the deep penetration of the jade, it strengthens the entire immune system and regulates the physical and mental metabolism. It relieves high blood pressure and is also a stone of pregnancy, which preserves painful labor and miscarriage. It is also often used as a fertility stone, which in the case of a child's desire accelerates the coming together of the eggs. Jade strengthens the bone structure and muscles.
Effects on the psyche: through the stimulating effect on the mental metabolism, the Jade is able to dismantle prejudices in us. Virtues, such as justice and mercy, are strengthened. The Jade gives us more joy, zest for life and conception, which is affected by a large circle of friends. As a stone of love, inner peace, harmony and balance, the jade brings us more satisfaction in life. In professional intentions, however, the Jade is able to strengthen in us the courage and the personality. We lose anxiety, stage fright and get more skill in negotiating with superiors and business partners.
