This is for ONE (1), SINGLE pannier / shoulder bag-- you will receive one bag. One bag works great!

This is the last one and it is dark amber in color.

These are genuine vintage 1960's Swiss Army issue ammo bags beautifully & peacefully repurposed into a gem of a small pannier and shoulder bag! . Made from a heavy duty sage green cotton twill and saddle leather.
Outside these bags measure 11.5" Wide x 9.25" Tall x 4.12" Deep.
Inside they measure: 11" x 8.75" x 3.75"
Your iPad or other tablet will fit inside quite nicely. The lid is held in place by a leather thong.

I've added a simple but effective rack mount to each bag which secures the bag to your rack's horizontal rails just like a pannier would mount with a pair of hooks. Then, a nylon strap and cam-lock buckle hold everything on and in place at the bottom. They will fit any standard diameter rack tubing (The hooks are approximately 10mm wide at the opening). You'll need a rack. Any of these will work: Axiom, Nitto, Tubus, Trek, Blackburn, Pletscher, Old Man Mountain, Jandd, etc. If you have a not-so-tall rack (less than 9") let me know. We might have to figure out a way to get them on your recumbent or folding Dahon or Bike Friday.

They now include additional hooks to hold a 44" leather shoulder strap which you can put on when you want to carry your bag off-bike then remove it and stash it in the bag when you get back on your velo.

Each bag is one-of-a-kind. Each has it's unique patina and character. They have been used and do show signs of use. The leather might have some scuffs and discoloration. The fabric may have some light stains. They will smell of mothballs. They like to be aired out when you've gotten them wet.

Generally, they look pretty great and it's remarkable they are about 40 to 45 years old (they are all dated with maker's marks--from the 1960's). They've all been cleaned by hand and the leather treated with saddle oil.
