Hand-spun & Hand-dyed wool skein of 2ply worsted yarn processed from Rare Gulf Coast Native Sheep raised on our farm, Danina Farms, using sustainable and organic practices. The wool was harvested in the spring of 2017 from Erline, a 6 year old Ewe sheep. Our sheep are raised on pasture with freedom to graze at will. We use a natural and chemical-free approach, creating a healthy environment which produces a healthy animal and top quality products. Gulf Coast Native Sheep are a rare heritage breed that is list as critical on The Livestock Conservancy's Endangered Breeds List.

This Skein of yarn is 4.1oz and 206 yards. The yarn was hand processed by Handmade Hallows.
