Description

This listing is for ONE button, but there are TWO available. These were hand made, each tiny piece of glass hand set. They are not exactly alike. I have numbered them. When buying please tell me which one you wish to purchase.

These were made some time during the mid 20th Century. I believe they are Italian, but they are not signed. The floral design is charming. These could easily be a piece of jewelry.

Both the age and the Italian description are my educated "guess" which comes from 32 years of buying, selling and collecting antique and collectible smalls, specializing in buttons.

They are done in a lovely floral design. they have a rather matt finish. The outside border resembles a thin metal strip wrapped around a wire core.

They are NBS medium, measuring 1 & 1/16" (2.7 cm) in diameter. They are set in a non magnetic gold toned metal with a loop shank on the back.

They are in very good, original vintage condition. Please refer to my photos as they are a big part of my description. I include highly magnified photos that show every thing about the buttons. Magnification shows things that aren't readily seen with the naked eye.

This would be a lovely addition to any button collection. They could also work in jewelry making or be used for a very special knitting, sewing, quilting or weaving project.

Combined shipping is available.
