Description

Monstera cross stitch pattern, 3 of 3, tropical leaf decor, modern xstitch, 4 inch hoop chart, green decor, botanical embroidery, diy gift

********PLS NOTE THIS IS A PATTERN, YOU ARE NOT BUYING A FINISHED PRODUCT*********

Difficulty - hard, due to the confetti style of the piece & also the closeness of the green shades
Stitching time: around 10 hours each hoop

Monsteras are all the rage at the moment & this 4 inch hoop cross stitch pattern is a different take on the trend.

This pattern is specifically designed to be stitched on 14 count aida fabric and framed in a 4 inch inch hoop. The pattern is designed to be stitched right to the edge of the hoop. When you are framing some stitches will go under the edge of hoop, I have over compensated for this a bit to take into account the minor differences in the sizes of 4 inch hoops.

The pattern is charted in 4 DMC colours, it is pictured stitched on black zweigart 14 count aida fabric but I think it would look great on white, aqua, blue or any other coloured aida that takes you fancy. I would recommend using a solid colour aida due to the variation of colour in the pattern.

With this listing you will receive 5 pdf files, each is of the same pattern but formatted in different ways. You will need a pdf viewer on your computer or device to use these.
- 1 page colour stitch pattern - to give you an idea of how it will look in the end
- 1 page B&W symbol chart - great for those who use tablets to view patterns
- 4 page B&W symbol chart - great for those who like to print their patterns & mark them off as they go
- 1 page colour symbol chart - again for those who use tablets
- 4 page colour symbol chart - again for those who like to print their patterns

One thing I would say with this guy is it can be a bit green confetti, if you know what I mean. Due to this I recommend approaching it by leaving your perfectionism in the cupboard. I have made a mistake in everyone of these I have stitched (and I have stitched quite a few now), and the best thing about it is... no-one can tell ;) Enjoy!

I would not recommend this as a beginner pattern, I would say a 5th or 6th project would be fine. The confetti nature of the pattern can send your head swimming & I personally would find that frustrating as a learner.

This pattern is part of a set of three, but if you were choosing to do only one of the three this would be my pick, I think it has all the features of a great stand alone piece.

This pattern is part of a set of three, you will receive only the pattern for the first hoop pictured. If you wish to get one of the other hoops or all three as a set, please visit the pattern section of my store for these options:

FAQs

As a general rule I always provide more thread than you will need to complete each kit, but sometimes we make mistakes counting or stitching or thread coverage & can use up all of the extra that Stitched provides.

If this is the case please get in contact with me. In most cases I will be happy to send out more.

I do reserve the right make a decision on a case by case basis but I have never had the need to say no in the past.

I want everyone to be able to enjoy cross stitch & certainly don't want a beginner put off cross stitching by them not being able to finish a piece as they need one more length of floss.
