MAZAL TOV on your upcoming wedding!
You put a lot of thought into every detail of your wedding and it is sure to be a profoundly personal and meaningful experience. Buying your ketubah, your ILLUMINATED MARRIAGE CONTRACT, can also be a rewarding experience. You don't have to buy it from "Ketubahs R Us". Buy straight from the artist, get exactly what you want, and enjoy the process. Sounds like grounds for a solid marriage to me.

The purchase of your ketubah includes the archival print and your personalized text in Hebrew (or Aramaic) and English.

The Canopy Ketubah combines a Middle Eastern arabesque design with a modern pastoral landscape. Along the border there are two traditional, romantic verses. One is from Song of Solomon:

Behold! The winter is past;
the rains are over and gone.
Flowers appear on the earth;
the season of singing has come,
the cooing of doves
is heard in our land.
The fig tree forms its early fruit;
the blossoming vines spread their fragrance.
Arise, come, my darling;
my beautiful one, come with me.

The second is a traditional Yemenite hymn said at weddings.

"In the name of the Merciful, full of mercy. In the name of God to whom greatness belongs, (whose name) is exalted above every blessing and praise. In a most auspicious time and a commended season, with strength, repute and glory, delight and exultation, grace, favor and compassion fulfillment of every wish to the bridegroom and the bride and the entire assembled community. May they rejoice and be joyful, blossom and spread like fragrance. May they build and prosper, build and prosper."

Your ketubah will be printed on Somerset Velvet fine art paper for Epson. This beautiful paper is acid-free to preserve your piece, 100% cotton rag for long term durability, and has a velvet surface for rich details and accurate reproduction. We use Epson Ultrachrome K3 inks which are water soluble pigmented inks that significantly outperform lesser ink technologies, providing consistently stable colors. These inks are long lasting, and they enable true color fidelity, gloss level, and scratch resistance.
