I really enjoy creating fabrics using one hue of dye in various values on the same piece. For this yard, I used a sky blue dye, but created bands of blue in different values: light, medium and dark. Approximately half of the yard is light sky, with the remainder medium sky. In between the two sections is a band of dark sky blue.

Some dyes creates bolder crystalline patterns than others, and sky blue is a dye I go back to often when I want a strong pattern. The patterns truly resemble the view through a kaleidoscope.

This fabric would be wonderful used in a garment, quilt, home decorating project.

I have washed this fabric thoroughly and have tested it for colorfastness in 140 degree water.

Please convo me with any questions.
