Ad van Hassel (1953)

Screen printing, 1994-18/125

Dimensions: Height 40 cm, Width 30 cm

Condition: in good condition

Ad Van Hassel was born in 1953 in Roosendaal. He received his education as a visual artist in the studio of Maarten Krabbé. He developed skills in different techniques.

City views, landscapes and flower still lifes are often the theme in his work. In 1985 an ETS was included in the Rijksmuseum rijksprentenkabinet of the Rijksmuseum of Amsterdam.

Between 1981 and 1986 Ad has driven his own art dealership. Despite the success of the business, he has increasingly gained his work as an artist and has relocated himself as a free artist. He previously worked mainly on reality, now he leaves his imagination free and concentrates on the screen printing, in which his preference for color play gets all the space. Continuing on a road is important. Development rather than stoppage. Only then is rejuvenation the result of the progression of time, after all:

"Man is like a born child. His Power is the abilty to grow "– Rabindranath Tagore 1895-
