This flat backed Irish Bouzouki or Octave Mandolin is made in Alaska of native wood.
The top is tight grained Sitka Spruce with bearclaw figure.
Sides and back are Alaska Yellow Cedar and Red Cedar. Back is alternating red and yellow cedar in a chevron pattern.
Mother of pearl Celtic inlay is used for fret markers on the Cocobolo fingerboard which is bound with maple.
Body banding is bloodwood.
The instrument features top quality gold plated Grover tuners and acoustic electric pickup through endpin jack.
Tail piece is heavy brass with abalone inlay.
Signed and numbered.
It comes with a quality rigid foam case.
