Knee breeches were a common pant in the 18th century, and are appropriate for French and Indian War through the American Revolution. These are made of a light weight brown cotton with matching covered buttons and fit true to waist size.

Need help finding your waist size? No problem! Breeches sit higher than your jeans so measure just under your belly button. That size in inches indicates the size in breeches you need.

The size of our breeches is listed with the gusset completely closed. This means the size indicated is the smallest size they will fit. So if you measure as just shy of 40 inches around, you may want to consider a size 38 breeches for room to tighten if you loose some weight.
