A stunning Tanfouk Amulet pendant handmade by the artisanal family of Mohamed Ahnou of Niger. Sterling Silver is finely engraved with traditional Tuareg patterns. The Sterling frame holds a circle of smooth dark Ebony wood which has been polished to a warm glow. Circles representing the Circle of Life are inlaid with Ebony wood. The reverse of the pendant reveals the artisan's signature in the pictographic Tifinagh language of the Tuareg (they have a different language for the spoken word.)

The necklace combines fancy barbell shaped and round Jasper beads, Sterling Silver beads, finishing cones and clasp.

The Tanfouk measures 3 5/8" long and the necklace is approx. 20 1/2" in length. To customize or for international shipping, please email.
