This New York City souvenier ash tray was made between the years 1945-1951 when the Allied Forces occupied Japan after World War II. It measures 4.75" X 3.75".

We are not sure what kind of metal it's made from but it is a dark gray, soft metal with a silver tone coloring. In the middle of the ash tray is the Statue of Liberty, on the left side is Rockefeller Center, on the right side is the Empire State Building, the top shows the George Washington Bridge, and on the very bottom it says "City of Wonders, New York City".

The back of the ash tray is marked with "Made in Occupied Japan". It is in good condition other than some of the silver tone being worn away from obvious handling over the years.

This would make a nice addition to any NYC collector.
