Don't judge a book by its cover, and don't be fooled into thinking you're getting a working piece of vintage darkroom equipment. Although this is an authentic Omega B-22 Condenser Head from a 1960's enlarger, I have repurposed it to hold your most secret stuff (like jewelry, cash, etc.) OR your favorite botanicals OR your fragrance sticks OR maybe even a couple of incense sticks.

This is great gift for a professional photographer to use in the studio or office; for the photography hobbyist; for the person who loves the look of vintage industrial decor; and the connoisseur of one-of-a-kind functional art -- because everyone has special secrets!

Looking absolutely normal on the outside, the interior of the piece has been deconstructed and redesigned to hold your treasures. Simply twist the two locking knobs to lift off the top half of the piece and uncover two new, plastic storage containers. In addition, you'll find two small storage areas: one accessed by twisting off the red screws; and one that will require a small screwdriver to reveal a mini screw top container. The smokestack-style top is also attached with screws and can be removed so botanicals or sticks can come through the top. See photos.

The Condenser Head is in good vintage condition with just the right amount of wear marks to verify a history. The piece measures approx. 6" across at the widest point and 9" high.
To see how this piece was attached to the enlarger, you'll find a 1970 print ad for the Omega B-22 Enlarger at: http://www.khbphotografix.com/omega/Ads/B22_Feb1970.htm

The secret box will ship to the U.S. lower 48. I am happy to ship to Alaska and Hawaii. Please convo for quote.

Please note that I work with authentic, used, vintage pieces, not reproductions. Although I strive to use pieces that are true to their original condition, there may be minimal wear marks or factory imperfections, especially on pieces that were never meant to be seen.

Additional policies

As a company which both buys and sells on the internet, we know first hand how important it is to trust the people with whom you are doing business. And although JTBALDWIN is fairly new in the market, we want you to know that we have been selling vintage items on Ebay since 2002 and are proud to have earned the distinction of ‘Top Rated Seller’ for our customer service. Of course, not every buyer goes to the trouble of rating a seller and supplying feedback, but those who did consistently tell us that they appreciate our attention to detail and accurate descriptions, care in packing, and honesty — and we strive to continue that level of service on Etsy.

We make every attempt to treat our customers with courtesy and respect and we take great care in providing a quality product.
