Yes, I do love sock monkeys, can you tell?

This is my original pattern to cross stitch an adorable little sock monkey biscornu.

A biscornu pattern is made into an 8-sided little pincushion with irregular sides. The name is derived from a French adjective, meaning "skewed, quirky or irregular." You could also make this into a framed piece, a little pillow, a sachet or add a ribbon for a cute ornament.

Each side of the sock monkey biscornu stitches up at 64w x 64h on 14 ct Aida fabric and uses 10 DMC floss colors. It has full stitches and back stitches. It'll be about 4.5 inches square when stitched on 14 ct fabric.

This pattern is for personal use only. Please do not redistribute or copy this pattern in any format. It is fine to sell finished items on a small business level if you credit me - as Maggie Knight / - for the original pattern.
