In the sixties and seventies many German manufacturers of belts used local craftsmen to make buckles. Some of these buckles are present days turned into real works of art.
All the craftsmen buckles of that era were marked:
GES. GESCH is is an abbreviation for "Gesetzlich Geschutzt" and is the German equivalent of a trademark,copyright or patent.
Stunning bronze plastic arts buckle in Op Art style. Produced in West Germany,late 60's Massive and severe/140gr./ belt buckle for belt wide to 6 cm. Marked on the back. A true art creation for your waist and soul! Size: 8.5 cm x 8 cm.
Used,good vintage condition. Note: oxidation in down corner.
