Our birth rulers are made of premium, high grade, white pine hand picked from a local lumber mill (not the cheap boards from the big box hardware stores). After cutting them the same length of your baby at birth, we meticulously plane the board to give a "glassy" smooth surface, carefully rout and sand the edges, and then hand stain or paint with your choice of 5 different finishes. The tick marks and lettering are made with premium vinyl of your color choice that will easily last the life of the board without peeling off and also gives the ruler a crisp, finished, clean cut look.
