A listed American artist, Lorne, Naomi (Formerly Naomi Duckman Furth, 1902-1964) was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1902.
This magnificent piece is painted on masonite board and has imposing palette knife strokes that depict wild mountains under a heavily weighted blue green sky. There are a few climbers in roughly shaped snow .
This breathtaking beauty sits in an elegant wood gilt frame which is ornately carved.
The back has original tags and the artist's biography.
In excellent condition with small chips on the bottom of the frame.

Approximate measurements : 30.75" X 26.75"
