Description

This large format 22x28 Alfa Romeo GTV-2000 serigraph poster is printed by hand on creme colored 250 gsm beefy slighty textured stonehenge paper.

Scanned from an original factory Alfa Romeo brochure and edited by a professional print-maker & collector to remove imperfections/blemishes and enlarged then re-printed with optimum detail as it would have been printed by the actual factory with no blur or focus lost.

The factory released these diagram illustrations as 5x7 prints that were provided in the operating manual with the purchase of the actual car.
Only here you can find a 22x28 enlarged version ready to be framed and enjoyed.

Shipped in a protective tube. Frame not included.

The Alfa Romeo GTV-2000 belonging to the 105/115 family series of coupes was introduced in 1971 and produced until 74-75 as the successor to the GTV-1750. It's most significant changes were the engine displacement being increased to 2.0. The grill being replaced with the chrome horizontal bar style, the gauge cluster and dashboard were also re-designed. Designed by the 19 year old Giorgetto Giuigaro while working at Bertone, the Alfa Romeo GTV-2000 and the entire Giulia coupe series remains a timeless classic automobile coveted by so many collectors and enthusiasts of all generations.

What is a serigraph poster?

A serigraph or also known as a screen print or silk screen is a stencil-based printing process in which the image is burned onto a light sensitive coated nylon screen, then the screen is washed with water to remove unwanted areas, then dried and registered onto the printing press. Ink is applied to the screen, the paper is loaded underneath and a squeege is used to depress the ink onto the paper underneath creating dense, sharp, rich and unique looking collectible prints.
