Description

Genius Cloths - Replace every type of cleaning cloth in your home with the ultimate zero waste option.

These cloths can be used for washing up - dusting wet and dry - cleaning spills and spoils - for children - for pets - the car - the garden - pot stands in fact if you use a cloth, sponge, flannel, duster, kitchen roll for anything then these are for you!

They can be washed and washed and washed. colours picked at random

I started making these for my home and family about 14 years ago. At the time I was using cloth nappies and washable wipes for my son, I found I needed lots of wipes so started making genius cloths. I soon found I could use them for any job around the home.

Fast forward to 2017 and I still have some of the first ones I made in daily use! And now they are even more special as they were the first product I managed to start making again after I suffered a stroke - so the genius has helped me find my brain again!

They are made from towels that have been handed into charity shops - most of the time these end up going to the ragman, so the charity shops benefit more from genius cloths.
The top layer is recycled t-shirts although mainly 100% some are mixed fibers as I try and reuse everything. The t-shirts are ones which are no longer wearable, and again would end up with the rag man.

The threads I use all come from end of production in factories etc - so not buying new and creating demand - plus these often get thrown away.

Please note they are not perfectly square, they are all roughly the same shape but my aim is to not have too much waste - so think wonky vegetables ....wonky dishcloths!
Any waste we do have gets used in other projects.
