Description

This is a vintage Fenton Custard Glass ruffled bowl in the Persian Medallion pattern. Persian Medallion pattern interior and Bearded berry pattern exterior. It is in satin custard with a matte finish. About 7" across and 2.5" tall. I believe this piece dates from about 1975. Fenton first made custard glass in 1915 and then made it again around 1940 with a color called Ivory. It wasn't until 1972-1984 that Fenton reissued their custard glass. Custard glass uses a trace amount of uranium in order to achieve the color. Marked with the Fenton logo on the bottom. Excellent condition. Could use a further cleaning. Shipping is based on West Coast to East Coast. If shipping is far less, I will gladly refund. Thanks, Ryan.
