Gift wrapping and packaging

Available. If you'd like us to add a personal note in the package as well, write to us. Gift or not, each order is carefully packed as to avoid damage during shipping.

What is the timeline for custom rugs?

We always ship on time (4-6 weeks usually) but custom pieces can also take a little longer. We will keep you updated throughout the process.

Please leave room for variations :-) Every rug at Rugs Boutique undergoes a very intimate and organic weaving process: this comprises hand-dying and knitting, followed by severe tensile assessments. All distinctions in colors and designs are natural, insofar as to be caused even by the changes in the weather at times. However, these are only very slight variations and I never dispatch a rug without sharing pictures first.

Why are your processing times so long?

Against mass-production and stockpiling, most of our rugs are made-to-order, which helps in cutting down unnecessary waste of resources like dyes, water, yarn, etc. So after each order, we weave a rug just for you! Isn't that something?

Please do not wash your kilim rugs. Consult a local rug company or dry cleaner to have them clean it for you. You can count on me to guide you from a phone screen as well 💌
