This English Sycamore jewelry box with two removable trays provides efficient storage for your precious jewelry. The top tray has 8 compartments perfectly sized for organizing rings and earrings, and the bottom tray has 4 larger compartments for bracelets, watches, or small collectibles. Underneath the bottom tray there is plenty of space for larger items.
This fine jewelry box is very smooth to the touch due to the painstaking sanding and finishing. It is a lacquer finish and it is lined with Ultrasuede.
New to this batch of Matrix boxes are the wooden hinges. I designed and crafted the hinges myself using a precision laser tool. I strategically used very hard/tough woods such as Hickory, Beech, and Rosewood.

The finish I use is a CAB acrylic lacquer from Sherwin Williams with the vinyl sealer base coat. I often use paste wax with steel wool to make the piece feel better to the touch and to bring out the sheen.
Very little care if any is necessary aside from removing dust occasionally. You can use an air canister if you like. You may also use any wax type polish to bring out the sheen. If alcohol or a chemical gets on the piece, wipe off immediately. Letting a chemical sit will ruin the finish.
The leather lining I use is a synthetic suede called Ultrasuede. It can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
Custom orders are accepted based on wood type only, unless a large quantity is desired. My boxes are all made in batches and are not conducive to size changes. I can do monograms as seen in this listing:
