Montecito Chapel Alcove is an 8"x8" Marble Tile Mural that is framed in aged wood. The rustic quality of the Early California architecture of the church and chapel, I felt warranted a frame that conveyed that same feeling. I render photographs onto various types of tiles through a process called sublimation. I do this in my studio. The specialized ink is actually impregnated into the stone so it will not peel.
