This is the new version of our K_Kraft stand alone electric bobbin winder with more electronics and fewer mechanical adjustments.
The bobbin winder is 8″ X 12″ with a built in thread stand for large and/or small spools. The unit is powered with a standard plug. The new features of the Super Electric Bobbin Winder are:

1. Micro controller…This controller not only controls the speed of the bobbin winder, but also counts the number of revolutions so the auto fill function works regardless of speed.

2. Flexible spindles...Included are 2 interchangeable spindles. The white spindle works very well for most standard bobbins, including class 15, "M" and featherweight bobbins. The green spindle is designed to accept the green Viking, blue Husqvarna and the newer Pfaff plastic bobbins. We normally ship with the white spindle installed. If you include a note with your order we will ship with the green spindle installed.
3. Variable speed control... The speed control is regulated from 1,000 RPM to 3,000 RPM. Our older style winder ran at a fixed 2,000 RPM without available adjustments.

4. Auto Fill ... There are two different settings so you can have it automatically set for two different types of bobbins (if you happen to have 2 machines that you would like to wind bobbins for). These settings will automatically stop the bobbin from filling further, once you have set them for your bobbins. These settings will remain even if the winder is turned off or unplugged.

5. Quiet Running…You will find this winder will run much quieter than previous models. The metal parts have been replaced with a direct drive DC motor.

I absolutely love this bobbin winder! I favor freestanding lace embroidery and because it is a two sided design, it requires color matching. I plow through bobbins and this winder is my Godsend! It will wind Husqvarna bobbins, a lot of winders won’t.

Ever since Bobbin winders hit the market, I’ve wanted one of my own. But, for whatever reason, green bobbins for the Viking sewing machines were not part of the “game”. I was looking for more green bobbins to purchase on Etsy and somehow came across this phenomenal bobbin winder! Phenomenal because it not only takes the green Viking bobbins, it works wonderfully!!! The adjustable speed is a plus and the auto fill function is the cherry on top. I love it and recommend it to anyone who is looking to purchase a Bobbin Winder. I also own Berninas, but haven’t tried those bobbins as of yet. Thank you for producing this wonderful equipment!

Nice heavy duty bobbin winder w/speed control, sturdy spool holder and comes with additional bobbin converter knob. Also has a setup feature to set the bobbin quality for winding multi bobbins the same. I’m very happy with this purchase. Cost more but worth it.
