Description

This is a beautiful antique beaded trim from the Edwardian Period. During that era, bead-work was in high vogue. This piece was never used, so the condition is excellent. Most of the beads are bugle beads but there are also some foiled seed beads. The beads on the open-worked outside edge blend but on close inspection one sees gold, copper, pewter, and hematite colored beads. The beaded design is hand done on black netting. The resulting piece is quite pretty.

It measures approximately 4 & 1/2" by 4". It is in very good, original antique condition. I have posted several pictures, including some close-ups which show things not easily seen with the naked eye. I really don't see any flaws to mention.
