I am among the millions (literally, according to YouTube views) of people who appreciate henna art, especially the application of ink in patterns on the backs of the hands and fingers. Watching the process through the viewpoint of the typically faceless artist as they work on their own hands, it seems a combination of techniques and fields; the composition of a painter, the speed of a sketch artist, the precision and body awareness of a tattoo master. I explored this with new embroidery stitches, performed with a blunt needle in one hand and wearing a glove on the other.
Still available are the maroon gloves, pink gloves, and navy gloves with blue embroidery. The grey gloves with black thread are sold, as are the black gloves with the multi-colored sparrows.
