Description

Set of 2 antique clear yellow glass sewing buttons. Lovely intricate design with silver back paint in fabulous condition.

Buttons measures 9/16" (14mm), 4 way brass box shank.

Wonderful condition as shown.

Item number for inquiries: BTE2760

Special note:

This is one of many antique and vintage buttons I will be listing from my Grandmothers button collection. From the 1910s through the 1930s, she would get together with friends and they would share buttons from each others "button boxes". Some of the buttons were attached to a note with a brief description or a note indicating whose button box a button was from. Many have no notes. If there is a note, wherever possible I will include that note... even if I have removed the button from the note for photos.

~ Attached to note reading "imported yellow glass from Paris"

Grammy was born in 1886, passed away in 1962 and eventually my mother passed her collection on to me. Now it's time for these precious little gems to find new loving homes. They're truly special.

God bless
