Description

This listing is debuting my newest dragon design: WYRMs. They are a bit more fierce than my original DRAGONs...note those sharp teeth!

The photos show the first hatching of six WYRMs. You can choose from Bernard, Dwight, Eddie and Fernando!

As you can see, each WYRM is unique as I don't have a pattern/mold/anything like that...each one comes straight out of my imagination.

The idea for these started out as a way to mark your pawn's place while you're playing board games (classic games like Monopoly--much cooler than the wheelbarrow or the boot) or for any of the many modern board games that are exploding in popularity. (You can view some of my glass pieces in action during a board game review filmed by my husband Richard "Rahdo" Ham at youtube.com/watch?v=K5k19ZHWsqg#t=293)

Who wouldn't prefer playing with lovely, beautifully-made player markers? They really add to the enjoyment of the game, and are a very cool gift for any avid gamer.

But you don't have to be a board gamer to have a WYRM. They are just cool sculptures!
• You could put one in your fish's tank to protect its realm.
• You could have one guarding your keyboard at work.
• Why not put one next to the stove, ready to be placed near a burner to remind you it's hot!
The possibilities are never ending =)

The WYRMs are hand made by me, Jenefer Ham, from Bullseye glass, and each one has been properly annealed in a kiln for a lifetime's enjoyment. It has a flat bottom and is very stable. It comes with a lovely velvet pouch for transport/storage.

It occurred to me that I need to mention that my new sculptural designs (dragons, dinos, and other animals) need to be handled with a little bit of extra care. I have been known to be a little clumsy and drop the normal-shaped markers (like the LAYERS or CONFETTI or BORDERS styles) on our tile floor, and occasionally a marker will get knocked off the shelf/table and bounce across the tile floor, and never a problem...but the new sculptural pieces, even though they’ve been properly annealed, have pokey outey bits (that's the technical term) which are delicate.

*** P. S. Did you notice all additional pieces in your order will get shipped for FREE! Yay! I love a great deal, and know you do too =) ***

Shipping policies

Shipping cost: there is a flat shipping charge, and ALL additional pieces sent in the same package ship for FREE! Yay!

First class shipping is from Vancouver WA, USA and includes a tracking number. I post to the address that you have registered with Etsy, so please take a moment and confirm that it is correct. I am sorry but once it's left my hands I have no control over delivery times.

For shipping, I wrap the glass carefully in dense bubble-foam wrap, and then place it in its lovely velvet pouch. For the exterior mailing envelope I usually use a padded bubble envelope. Orders with multiple items may be mailed in a box.

You can see a photo of how I wrap and package my glass at https://www.etsy.com/shop/JeneferHamGlass/about?ref=shopinfo_about_leftnav. Click through the photos at the top, it's the 5th photo.

------------ INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS--------------------
Include electronic USPS Delivery Confirmation, are sent first class, and are usually delivered in about 10 working days. I take care to fill out the customs form properly to expedite the package's transit through Customs/Import.

Please note: now that I'm mailing from the USA, it's likely there will be VAT and Customs Duty charges on International Shipments over apx $20 in value. Any customs charge/import duty/VAT, are the responsibility of the buyer.

Please see below for links regarding how those charges are calculated.

United Kingdom:
• Goods purchased of £15 or less are free from Customs Duty and import VAT.
• Goods between £15-135 will be charged VAT but no Customs Duty.
• Goods above £135 will be charged both VAT and Customs Duty.

Value Added Tax (VAT) - Import VAT is charged at the same rate that applies to similar goods sold in the UK and applies to commercial goods over £15 in value, and on gifts that are over £39 in value. The value of the goods for import VAT is based on the:

basic value of goods, plus
postage, packing and insurance, plus
any import (Customs or Excise) duties charged

Additionally, If customs charges are payable upon importation, Royal Mail will charge a handling fee.

Additional policies

Every care has been taken to ensure long life, but my pieces are made of glass, so common sense and care should be taken when handling them. You can clean them with a soft cloth and a bit of soap & water.

They are also relatively small items, so please use care if allowing children to view/hold/play with the pieces.
