You are purchasing a LIMITED EDITION SIGNED AND NUMBERED COPY of my original textile painting. It is printed on acid free, 100% cotton rag paper with a natural textured finish that feels and looks like watercolor paper. It is 11" x 14" (27.94cm x10.16cm) with a 2" (5.08cm) white border all around.
Original art was: I chose copper satin in background to imply MOM. raw-appliqued, free-form embroidery, and embellishing. It is crafted of batiks, bridal lace, satin, eyelash silk, merino wool, silk, and 50 wt Aurifil cotton thread. My stepmom loved her birthday gift & I was surprised it came so promptly! It totally took her by surprise! I want to order for us now when we get our own place! Was thinking to order another for a friend as a housewarming gift! The only issue I had was the to & from note. It didn't tell her happy birthday & who it was from, so, as it did arrive early, she was confused.
