– Long tail cast on

– Crocheted seams; The sides & straps are seamed using a simple crocheted edging. You can use whatever yarn you’d like & just about any size crochet hook works - I used 3 different fingering weight yarns held together to create a pop of color & a marled look. You could hold the bulky & sport yarns together, do a neutral seam, or a contrasting color seam. The possibilities are endless! The piece is then finished with a crochet edging around the bottom as well.
– IMPORTANT NOTE: Blocking is extremely important, especially for the back lace. It will bloom quite noticeably when blocked.

It hasn't even been a week, and I've made two hats with the pattern! I was timid to cables before but so easy with this. I didn't have any questions when going through the pattern. Will definitely get another FreesiaFiber in the future!
