Description

This gorgeous gemstone pendant is a one-of-a-kind item (perfect for a diy statement necklace!), made from a stunning piece of natural Siberian (Russian) charoite, with its characteristic violet purple coloration and feathery crystalline structure, hand-set in sterling silver by a Native American artist. The pendant measures just under 2" x 1 1/4" (including bail), features a 6mm bail opening (great for a thin heishi necklace or thick metal chain), and is stamped '.925', on the back of the bail.

Note: the fifth photo is an exemplar only, included to show a previous custom design made with a similar pendant. This listing is for the pendant shown in the first four photos only, and DOES NOT include the chain.

Love this piece and want something similar? Just let me know and I would be happy to discuss making you a custom order of your very own!

Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have regarding this lovely item, thank you for your interest and I hope you enjoyed your time in my shop.

Fun Facts: charoite is a rare mineral which was not available outside of Russia until the mid-1970's and is named for the Chara River, which flows near the world's only known deposit (Siberia). It ranges in color from pale lilac to dark violet and can exhibit a distinctive swirling pattern which, combined with its unusual coloration, often leads to the belief that it has been artificially created or otherwise treated.

Free Stuff: every item comes with a lovely presentation box and patterned organza gift bag. I also offer a standard discount of 5% on orders of at least $50 (just enter the code FREEBIE at check-out), as well as a 10% loyalty reward for my wonderful repeat customers (many thanks to you all!!). Last but not least, I donate 5% of the proceeds from every sale to a no-kill rescue program, so every piece you buy helps an abandoned dog or cat find a new home :)

Requests: I welcome custom orders and can support size alterations, charm-swapping, set-matching and duplication on most of my designs (just see the individual item descriptions for which options are available). I am also open to more extensive customization options (tailored color-schemes, gemstone requests, fully custom designs etc.) for a negotiated fee based on the cost of the materials, so feel free to drop me a line with any design requests you might have.

Shipping: any items you order will be on their way to you within three days of receiving payment (unless we have coordinated otherwise) and come with free USPS First Class shipping for those located in the United States. For those located in Canada, Europe and Australia, I am happy to ship items to you for a flat fee of $10.00 (plus $2.00 for each additional item).

Refunds / Returns: I sincerely hope that you will be just as happy wearing my jewelry as I was making it, but if you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, please contact me as soon as possible so that we can work out an equitable solution to the problem. If your items do not arrive or are damaged during shipping, I offer full refunds or a replacement piece (where possible), within 30 days of purchase.
