Description

Remember those beanbag frogs from the 1970's? Back when I was a child, my "froggie" was my favorite toy. I was looking for a copy of one of those old frog patterns when my own kids were young and could not find one, so I made my own. Through lots of trial and error, I eventually perfected this pattern. You can fill your frog with rice or beans like we did in the old days, but I know through experience that they will eventually attract bugs, so I now fill them with plastic pellets, found in the doll section of many hobby/sewing stores. Another advantage to the pellets is that Froggie is now washable!

This listing is for one beanbag frog sewing pattern. The pattern has darts on the frog's nose and hind-end as well as ridges down his back. He also sports webbed toes. Make as many as you want. They make wonderful gifts. Check out the completed frogs in this Etsy store if you prefer a pre-made frog.

I also have pairs of safety eyes listed here for your convenience as supply allows. At this time, I only have yellow eyes.

I've kid-tested this froggie to "fit in your hand just right".
Thank you for looking!
