ABOUT THE ARTISIT
J.Hill is a Fort Worth Area Business Owner, Artist, & Musician. His ability to create stylized works of art goes hand in hand with his skills to evoke thought and emotion. “Art for me is staying in every moment, letting go for dear life, and when you are inspired to create something you use the mediums that you have on hand.” His sculpting style is strongly influenced by the Middle Ages and Ed Roth, and as of late Thomas Paine’s “Age of Reason.” It is evident to see his inspirations are nature, music, religion, and love. Hill has 20+ years in the foundry business and has worked with many profound artists throughout the world. The patination of bronze art is one of his favorite parts in the process.

Hill now owns and operates Hefestus Fine Arts, a bronze foundry, in North Texas, about 20 miles from downtown Fort Worth. He continues to sculpt, paint, and play music.

Each bronze sculpture has a very limited edition to ensure the value of the art can be preserved.

ABOUT BRONZE SCULPTURES & THE LOST WAX PROCESS.
Each bronze sculpture has a very limited edition.
Bronze Sculptures are created through The Lost Wax Process; this is considered a two mold investment casting process. This is a very detailed and labor intensive technique. Aside from paying for the actual metal, an extensive amount of experience, knowledge, supplies, and equipment are required. Each bronze is cast in America (Texas to be specific) at our home foundry, where we have a team of skilled artisans who hold The Lost Wax Process in high regard and only produce the highest quality castings.
