Vintage milk glass flower vase. Outside is etched in a traveling fern frond pattern. Rim is scalloped. Raised pedestal bottom which clearly shows EO Brody mark.

EO Brody founded his floral vase glassware company in 1958 in Cleveland, Ohio. His company was known for mass producing green, brown, and white milk glass vases for florists to use in customers' orders. The glassware later expanded to things beyond just flower vases, and many of the pieces bearing his name are still available in the vintage trade.

Vase is about 9 inches (23 cm) tall by 5 inches (12 cm) wide at the top opening. The vase has a bit of a pedestal base, so the depth for flower placement is only 7 inches (17 cm) tall. There are no chips or cracks in the rim, or anywhere for that matter. Vase is in mint condition.

All packaged up for shipping, this item weighs almost 4 pounds. This is a heavy, sturdy vase!

All of my China and glassware has been washed in the sink, by hand, with soapy water. I do not use a commercial dishwashing machine. Sometimes elbow grease is necessary to remove years and layers of grime. Dishwashers cannot do that. Any chips or cracks are noted in the listings.
