Description

Greetings....Offered is a way hard to find,if not rare, table lamp designed by Stewart Ross James for (Georg(e) Hansen(Lighting) New York.I believe it was made in the 50s.It is approx 21" tall and the shade diameter at the top end is about 15".It is in a totally as found great vintage condition. It is made of brass and sports it's aged patina.I am old school and felt it best not to polish to a shiny brass appearance.Buyer is welcome to do so after purchase. The shade shows it's age, but is still in good vintage condition.Again, buyer can recover after purchase.I like it the way it is.I have researched/searched the www and the only near example are on 1stdibs at $2,500.That one is a later version in chromed over brass.Another is a chromed floor lamp model at $3,500.One can also find the matching floor lamp on my etsy shop.Way rare to find a matching floor/table set.I secured this set and many other items from a private estate call in Amagansett.LI,NY.

Buyer Beware...If the original diffuser is not present, one is looking at an incomplete lamp and it's value is far less.

I have been dealing since my first set up at a flea market in Maybrook,NY in 1976.Over the years I have developed a lead system that ensures myself and my clients that each and every item I offer is totally fresh to the market.I am regularly conversing with anywhere from 1-4+ living estates/estates at any given time.Although I am domiciled on a dirt road in Vermont, I regularly travel to the urbans/burbs of all the northeastern states and into PA..My guess is that at least 98% of the mid century I buy comes directly from the home it has domiciled in since originally purchased. We will appreciate the opportunity to work with anyone interested and will do our best to insure that both sides feel they won

SHIPPING: My Door to Your Door, curbside or white glove delivery within a 275+ mile radius of Rutland, VT. My Door to Your Door Delivery assures that the item will arrive undamaged. Contact us for *MDYD inquiries and quotes.
May be shipped via UPS/USPS in two boxes.

IMPORTANT: We sell antique and/or vintage items. One should expect they will show the effects of age and use. We will do our best to describe the condition and afford proper pictures for your consideration. All items are sold "as is" and all sales are final. Please feel free to ask as many questions as you see fit before purchasing.
