Description

The crib is around 115 years old and has not been refinished. I bought it as a project but will most likely never get around to doing anything with it. Perhaps someone else will have more luck.

It has areas of surface rust and the paint is chipped/peeling all over. Also, one of the metal support rods has a slight bend. It still works, but takes some finagling to insert into the hole. It is not noticeable when assembled. You can see it from the photos. It also looks fine unpainted for a more shabby chic look.

The wire supports are in very good condition. The wheels are fully intact and in working order.
It comes apart and folds up for easy storage. The mattress is not included. I used it in the photos to show it takes a standard baby mattress.

The bed breaks down into five separate pieces and is assembled with steel rods. It's super easy to put together. This would be a great addition to a photography studio or a vintage/shabby chic decor display.

Bed measures:
53" tall
29" wide
4 feet tall
fits a standard baby mattress (MATTRESS NOT INCLUDED)
*this is NOT a drop side crib*

I also want to note that for those considering using this as a crib for their nursery, this crib does not meet meet modern CPSC safety standards.

Here are the CPSC Safety Standards----------------------
-No missing, loose, broken, or improperly-installed screws, brackets, or other loose hardware on the crib or the mattress support.
-No more than 2 3/8 inches between crib slats so a baby's body cannot fit through the slats. If a soda can fits easily through the slats on a crib, the spaces between the slats are too wide.
-A firm snug-fitting mattress so a baby cannot get trapped between the mattress and the side of the crib.
-No corner posts over 1/16 of an inch above the end panels (unless they are over 16 inches high for a canopy) so baby cannot catch clothing and strangle.
-No cutout areas on the headboard or foot board so a baby's head cannot get trapped.
-A mattress support that does not easily pull apart from the corner posts so a baby cannot get trapped between the mattress and crib.
-No cracked or peeling paint to prevent lead poisoning.
-No splinters or rough edges.

SHIPPING-----------------------------------------------------------
If you want it shipped to your home please contact me for an exact quote. Shipping is going to be expensive. All packing and shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer, to be paid to the UPS store.
