This chair is unbelievably easy to make and stands up tough outdoors. It looks great natural, stained or painted, and best of all, can be made easily in under 2 hours - with only 8 inexpensive 2 x 4 x 8 pieces of regular framing lumber!
You can complete the entire chair with simply a jig saw, speed square and a screw gun but having a
circular saw or compound miter saw will make it even easier.
TOOL NOTE : A compound miter saw will be the easiest choice
to make the beveled cuts needed, but it can also be accomplished
with a speed square and circular saw, or a hand saw if preferred

Built two chairs today with the kids. Pictures helped soooo much. We live in Australia so we just converted all the inches to cm and mm and it went together perfectly.
Amazing chairs!! Easy to follow instructions and chairs are super comfy. We made one slight modification- we swapped out the 2x4 arms for 2x6s so that we could add cup holders (as done by a fellow reviewer). We've gotten tons of compliments on them already.
Super easy to follow and the outcome is amazing! I've never built anything like this and I had no issues following the instructions. I'm working on making three more for my firepit!
Easy!! great!! Even for someone who has never touched a saw. This got me confident enough to cut my on boards for the 2nd chair.
