Description

This cribbage board is 13 1/2” x 4 3/8”. It is my Brown Tone “Tumbling Block” pattern. There are 144 pieces to make the pattern that goes over the edge, uninterrupted onto each side. The pattern has the illusion of a lot of blocks but there are as many stars as there are blocks. On each diamond, if you go to the side you are in the middle of a block. At each point you are in the middle of a star that has 6 points. This is a “Tumbling Block” quilt pattern.

In the side are 2 holes with 1 opening to store the pegs in. There are 2 turned brass pegs and 2 turned stainless steel pegs. They show in the picture on the board at one end.

On the bottom I signed it, listed the wood, and dated it. This cribbage board was made in 2015. After the date, the words “Foot Cut” let you know I made it on a foot powered table saw. The light wood is “Hackberry”, the dark is “Walnut”, and the other is “Oak”. They are all native to Missouri.

Go to my ”Shop Polices” and “Profile” page to see my return policy and other information on how I make these. To see other cribbage boards I’ve made, click on “Game Boards” or whatever gets your interest under “Sections in this shop”. The “Home” page itself can be rather confusing with everything mixed up. The “Sections in this shop” lets me show you all like items together as a unit.

Payment can be made using Pay Pal for immediate shipment, money order or check. Checks will have to clear before shipment is made.

Why are some of these things so old?

I did shows for 16 years, then had to stay closer to home as both my and my wife’s folks were living with us and needed more care. I made a lot of my things at shows and would finish them up at home. This way I built up quite an inventory of goods I would pack away in boxes. These are not like cars that wear out with age. They just set in a box and stay new. If when you get it, it is not what you want I have a very good return policy above.
