Meet Genevieve:

Genevieve is a buoyant, attractive and elaborate statement piece. Genevieve is another new fave. I absolutely love peacocks. I think God's very Majesty is demonstrated in the vibrant colors of the peacock feather (the body feather is my fave, so far - it has the most brilliant blue color I have ever seen). I think peacocks are just stunning creatures from the color of their feathers down to their amazing display. Genevieve has a bendable wire base - she is in the shape of a peacock from behind, bending its head down to its body, on the left side. It has three hand-wired crystals, illustrating its crown, on the head. The bendable wire base is covered with a beautiful tapestry fabric then adorned with numerous, assorted peacock feathers (the before-mentioned crystals), and a gold-colored vintage adornment. All are securely fastened to a matching, fabric-covered headband. The underside is finished and covered with vintage lace which shows-through the front of the fascinator - in a peek-a-boo style. This portion (the peacock's neck) comes over the forehead and the feathers protrude out the back part of the head. It definitely requires modeled pictures to illustrate.

I invest hours into each fascinator I create – they are a little piece of fun and love… from me to you.

If you have trouble using hair comp clips (they were popular when I was a kid, in the 80's)... this YouTube video will help guide you as to how they hold most securely. (They do not hold so well if you simply slide them in your hair. There's a true method to using them.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dSeXQttQXq4
