Description

2 Pair Left!

These rustic, ethnographic kidney drops are made by the Hill Tribe people of Thailand, renown for their silver work around the world. Although small at 15mm long, they are solid cast sterling, rather than hollow, so have some weight to them. Sorry my gram scale is not working properly to give you an accurate weight. Ear wires are sterling as well.

These kidneys were located at a large bead show, a place where I can often be found! I seem to have a radar for kidney shaped beads when I am bead shows or antique markets. If you are searching for a less traditional kidney shaped gift, these might fit the ticket. They would make a great for kidney recipients or living donors. Honor a friend or family member who is donating a kidney, or who just received the Gift of Life, because these are really COOL earrings! They have a stamped edge and the original wax casts have a less refined, hammered appearance.
