Description

This is your choice of a Celtic Animal Totem original watercolor painting on acid free, archival, cold press watercolor paper sized 5 x 7 inches: Butterfly Triskele, Firefly Triquetra, Owl Triple Moon.

The Butterfly Triskele: This painting shows a monarch butterfly emerging from its chrysalis with a Triskele symbol. Both the butterfly and the triskele symbolize rebirth and renewal. A butterfly is a symbol of the light soul, taking flight above earthly concerns. In its chrysalis, it represents the graceful struggle of one's own transformation - strengthening and ever growing toward achievement of one's best potential. The Celtic triple spiral symbolizes development, progress, and motion - power through transition and growth.

The Firefly Triquetra: This painting shows a firefly with a triquetra symbol. The firefly is a symbol of illumination - a guiding light in the dark. Our paths in life are made clearer if we allow beauty and grace to fill our lives. By day, the firefly looks like an ordinary insect - but by night, they are beautiful lights in the dark. Thus, things are not always what they seem. The Triquetra, or Celtic Trinity Knot, is a symbol of everlasting love. The circle around it symbolizes protection of the ever turning circle of life - unity without end.

The Owl Triple Moon: This painting shows an owl with a Triple Moon symbol. The owl is the "watcher of the night", symbolizing pending change, intuition, and inner wisdom. The Triple Moon is an ancient symbol of the mother goddesses - mother, maiden and crone, and those qualities of each: innocent and pure, compassionate nurturer, and experienced wisdom. The spiral in the full moon represents energy radiating both inward and outward.

These paintings are available individually, or as a set of all three (at a discounted rate).

Satisfaction is guaranteed, the artist retains rights to the images.
