Description

I have painted off and on for many years and am taking art classes again, this time learning the classical realism method of oil painting. It's all about shapes and shadows, training the eye to see the intricacies of objects and then painting them very realistically from life. I attend classes 2-3 times a week. My teacher is a master painter and my fellow students are delightful, serious learners.

I recently completed a series on fruit titled "Fruit Whimsical" with oranges, lemons, limes, cherries, peaches and pineapples. Fruit Whimsical describes my painting of these fruits by adding words to the canvas. "Aloha! it's mai tai time" reminds me of Hawaii, sitting on the beach, palm trees waving, water lapping the shore.

I'm hoping my paintings will bring smiles and happiness to all who see them.

Artist: Joan Moser

NOTE:
Giclee prints of my paintings are images generated from high digital scans and printed with pigment inks onto canvas. This process provides better color accuracy and detail than other means of reproduction.

I'm offering these prints in an 8 x 10 size. However, they can be reproduced to a larger size. Please contact me for pricing.

Price includes giclee print only. It does not include canvas stretching, matting or framing.

Please allow up to 2 weeks for delivery as my artwork is printed when ordered.
