I created this print of a Dark-eyed Junco from an original pastel drawing.

Prints are 8” x 10” and matted to 11" x 14" on white, acid-free mat and backer board. See my shop FAQs for tips on care and framing. I use genuine Epson Claria inks on 310gsm Canson Infinity Aquarelle watercolor paper, which is 100% cotton rag and acid-free. This means you get a beautiful, vibrant print that will be around for a long time!

Each print is stamped on the back with my shop logo, signed and labeled with the bird species. The print will arrive taped in place on the window mat and placed with a backer board into a protective, sealed plastic sleeve. Prints will be shipped to you in a flat package with protective cardboard backing to ensure safe arrival.

These prints are great for creating a collage wall in your living space, bedroom, nursery, kitchen or any space that needs a little life. I love experimenting with bright and dark papers and have found that mixing and matching paper colors, bird species and sizes makes for a beautiful composition of wall art, especially when you mix in photos and 3-dimensional pieces like flowers, greenery or interesting architectural pieces.

All original oil pastel drawings are sprayed with a workable fixative to prevent smearing and smudging, but should still be handled with care. While the papers and media I use are fade-resistant, I still recommend that the drawings not be displayed in direct sunlight. Use acid-free mat board and conservation glass (which protects the drawing from UV damage) if possible when framing your new artwork.

Prints are shipped with an acid-free mat and backer board and attached to the mat with acid-free linen hanging tape.
