Banjara Embroidery and Needlework has been derived from gypsies in India
and is basically a Local Art Form of the Tribes or "Banjaras":
Colorful threads are used in the embroidery reflecting the vibrant life style of the Banjaras. Their imagination knows no bounds and they just need a needle, a piece of cloth and some colorful thread. Their embroidery is unique in its style, brightness and originality, known for its vibrancy in colors and use of articles like coins, shells, mirrors, beads and many others as embellishments. The sunlight reflected through the mirror accentuates the beauty of this work.

If you like the Banjara Style and want to support this traditional art form be sure to come back to check for new arrivals... Our tailor came back from his home Karnataka with plenty of new patches, inspirations and ideas ready to get some new awesome work done... and we are keeping updating the inventory...
Thank you for your interest and support!
