This listing is for 2 ounces of super soft loose camel fibers. It is not in a roving or batt form these are loose fibers.

Camel is a short fiber just a little over a inch (2.54 cm) in length. Camel down is the soft inner coat of the camel with the outer coat being rough and long. This fiber is from a Bactrian camel (two humps) and has a fiber structure similar to cashmere but without the cost. A bactrian camel can produce up to 5 pounds of fiber annually.

I simply grab a handfull and begin spinning it into a woolen yarn on my spinning wheel. It can also be spun on a charkha or supported spindle. Use your handcards or a drumcarder and blend it with some Tussah silk or other fibers for a unique spinning experience. Can be carded into punis or spun from rolags.
