Description

This listing is for ONE (1) button but there are EIGHT (8) available for sell.

I am not sure how old these are. Based on the way they are made, the wear and the shank, I believe them to be from the first part of the 20th Century. They are made of non-magnetic metal with a silver toned finish. I think these are brass with a silver finish because there are a few places on some of the buttons where more golden color can vaguely be seen. They are stamped buttons. The design of the fleur di lis is lovely.

They are NBS medium, measuring 7/8" by 5/8". There is a loop shank on the back.

They are in very good, vintage condition. As I said, there are a few where the silver appears more worn than others. This isn't some thing that is immediately seen, but on closer inspection it is somewhat evident. Not distracting. There is some slight verdigris on the back of a couple of the buttons. I have not cleaned or polished any of these.

I have included many pictures which are a big part of my description. The pictures are a good indication of how these present. Please be sure to view them all so you have a good idea of what you are considering.

These would be a nice addition to any fleur di lis card or button collection in general. They could also be very attractive incorporated into a jewelry project. Buy ALL 8 and I will refund $8.00.

I can mail 10-12 buttons in one box for the same shipping fee as mailing one.
