Vintage clothing is at least 25 years old. Anything around 100 years old or more is considered antique. Les Femmes Vintage stocks antique and vintage clothing + accessories from the 1900s to the 1980s.
All garments have been hand washed or dry cleaned prior to shipment, including dead stock items that are new with tags. . I recommend dry cleaning or hand washing your items after wear; never machine wash your vintage garments that are older than 20 years.
The majority of the items offered at Les Femmes are in excellent wearable condition! If any flaws are present, it is noted in the listing.

Remember when purchasing vintage clothing and accessories that you are purchasing something that is preloved and preworn and like almost all vintage will show some signs of wear unless it is deadstock or virgin vintage (meaning never worn). Please be sure to read the description thoroughly and to view all the provided photos.

Please see the vintage condition ratings chart for further explanation.
Please see below:
○ mint - hardly any signs of wear, like new or new & never worn (dead stock, virgin vintage).
○ excellent - near mint but has been worn. no noticeable flaws.
○ great/very good - gently worn with minor imperfections expected with age. items are easily repairable & wearable at time of purchase.
○ good - visible wear with minor flaws. condition could be improved with repairs but items are still wearable as is.
○ fair - numerous flaws. repairs needed to wear. suitable as a costume as well.
○ study - extensive damage, not suitable for wear. can be used as a study piece for historical reference. display or repurpose.

Garments are measured lying flat; bust, waist & hips are doubled. Garments are then converted to modern alpha or numeric sizing with corresponding measurement. Please consider measurements when purchasing an item.

Keep in mind that fabric is fluid; as a good rule of thumb, allow a 1/2 inch to an inch in difference between the listed measurements and the actual garment.
FOR GARMENTS
BUST - Measure under your arms at the fuller part of your bust. Keep tape level across your shoulder blades
NATURAL WAIST - Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape comfortably loose
HIPS - Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips
INSEAM - Using a pair of your pants that fit well, measure inside let from crotch seam to bottom hem
PANT RISE - Measure from the inside of the crotch and up the zipper to where the pant buttons

FOR SHOES
INSOLE - the length of the inside of the shoe from the tip of the toe to the end of the heel
BALL - the inside width at the widest part of the shoe
HEEL - height of the heel from the bottom to where it meets the sole of the shoe
All sales are final; which means no returns, exchanges, or cancellations are available.

I pride myself on being as accurate as humanly possible in my descriptions and measurements. I note all flaws in the condition reports and items are measured multiple times before it is offered for sale. Items available in my shop have been dry cleaned and/or repaired unless otherwise noted. Restoration of vintage clothing is costly and I pay for these cost to offer my customers the best quality vintage. This process eliminates the possibility of gross misrepresentation!

All items in my shop are 100% authentic vintage, 20+ years or older and can not be returned due to improper fit or buyer's remorse.

ALL SALES ARE CONSIDERED FINAL!
